Keine Kom­pro­misse beim Asyl­recht! Stoppt die GEAS-Reform!

Abschot­tung, Abschreck­ung, Abschiebung, Lager, Ster­ben­lassen an den Außen­gren­zen und im Mit­telmeer — so sieht die Poli­tik Europas längst aus. Nun hat der Rat der EU die Reform des “Gemein­samen Europäis­chen Asyl­sys­tems” (GEAS) und damit eine der schärf­sten Asyl­re­for­men seit Jahrzehn­ten beschlossen. Die GEAS-Reform würde die ohne­hin schon ras­sis­tis­che und tödliche Poli­tik der EU ver­stärken. Es dro­ht die Abschaf­fung von dem, was vom Recht auf Asyl noch übrig ist. Schweigen und Gle­ichgültigkeit ver­ste­hen poli­tis­che Entscheidungsträger*innen als Zus­tim­mung. Doch wir nehmen das nicht hin und sagen: Nicht in unserem Namen! Entset­zen und Ohn­macht ver­wan­deln wir in Wut, Sol­i­dar­ität und Wider­stand.

Für das Recht zu kom­men und zu bleiben! Für ein gutes, selb­st­bes­timmtes Leben für alle Men­schen! Brin­gen wir die Fes­tung Europa Stein für Stein zum Ein­sturz.

Wir sehen uns am 22. Juli in Erfurt auf der Straße!

KILLING EUROPE’S BORDERS
No com­pro­mise on asy­lum law! Stop the CEAS reform!

Iso­la­tion, deter­rence, depor­ta­tion, camps, leav­ing peo­ple to die at the exter­nal bor­ders and in the Mediter­ranean Sea- this is what Europe’s pol­i­cy has already looked like for a long time/ a racist Euro­pean pol­i­cy that has been for a long time/ to describe the already racist cur­rent Euro­pean pol­i­cy. Now the Coun­cil of the EU has decid­ed on the reform of the “Com­mon Euro­pean Asy­lum Sys­tem” (CEAS) and thus on one of the most dras­tic asy­lum reforms in decades. The CEAS reform would rein­force the EU’s already racist and dead­ly poli­cies. It threat­ens to abol­ish what is left of the right to asy­lum. Silence and indif­fer­ence is what pol­i­cy mak­ers under­stand as con­sent. But we do not accept this injus­tice? and say: Not in our name! We trans­form shock and pow­er­less­ness into anger, sol­i­dar­i­ty and resis­tance.

For the right to come and stay! For a good, self-deter­mined life for all peo­ple! Let’s bring down fortress Europe brick by brick.
