Wir machen zur Abwech­slung mal ein Punkrock­kaf­fee an einem Don­ner­stag und auch noch in der falschen Woche für 5,- Euro? Das liegt an Bla­toidea aus Lon­don. Wenn man die Gele­gen­heit hat so eine Band auf die Bühne zu stellen muss das auch passieren. Mich hat schon der Band­name fasziniert, mitunter sind ger­ade Punkbands nicht so über­mäs­sig kreativ in diesem Bere­ich, anders bei den 4 Briten: „Our band is called bla­toidea, the name is inspired to a latin word indi­cat­ing the name of the species in which the cock­roach­es are inclued­ed to. The name is a metaphore to the nowa­days soci­ety. does­n’t mat­ter how much you strug­gle to get a bet­ter posi­tion into the sys­tem, how many wars we win or we lose, we are all on the same level,same race, same species, all noth­ing but cock­roach­es to the eyes of who con­trols the entire thing and in the same way they can get rid of all of us.“

Und die spie­len einen so angenehmen Old­school-Hard­core­punk, wie man ihn auf deutschen Büh­nen nur sel­ten zu hören bekommt. Zum Redak­tion­ss­chluss stand die zweite Band lei­der noch nicht fest, es wird aber auf alle Fälle eine geben. Also — is ja noch ein bis­sel Zeit — fünf Euro zusam­mengeschnor­rt und dann auffe Turm­bühne, auch mal am Don­ner­stag!
