In Erfurt hat rechte und ras­sis­tis­che Gewalt Tra­di­tion. Ras­sis­tis­che Angriffe auf migrantisierte und ras­si­fizierte Men­schen haben die gle­ichen Kon­ti­nu­itäten wie die Angriffe auf Linke, arme und mar­gin­al­isierte Men­schen. In den let­zten Monat­en haben lokale Nazis im Erfurter Nor­den mehrmals Leute ange­grif­f­en und ver­let­zt. Dass das jet­zt ver­mehrt in unser­er Ecke der Stadt passiert, heisst nicht, dass das Prob­lem neu (oder etwa ‘zuge­zo­gen’ ist) oder dass es schlim­mer ist, als wenn ander­norts Men­schen rechte Gewalt erleben. Für uns ist Sol­i­dar­ität mit den Betrof­fe­nen rechter und ras­sis­tis­ch­er Gewalt (und miteinan­der) zwin­gend, notwendig und selb­stver­ständlich. Die Angriffe betr­e­f­fen auch uns, die sich hier für eine emanzi­pa­torische Verän­derung der Gesamt­si­t­u­a­tion ein­set­zen, jen­seits von Ver­w­er­tungslogiken, Ver­schönerung und Stadt­teilen­twick­lung.

Und die Gesamt­si­t­u­a­tion ist auch ohne klatschende Nazis zum Kotzen: das Reden über diese Gesellschaft ist stark nach rechts gerückt (Diskursver­schiebung), die Umverteilung von unten nach oben läuft auch und ger­ade in Zeit­en mul­ti­pler Krisen munter weit­er. Woh­nung teur­er, Heizung teur­er, Essen teur­er – und die Reak­tion auf Lohn­forderun­gen sind dum­m­dreiste Aus­sagen zu ‘Lohn-Preis-Spi­ralen’. Gle­ichzeit­ig wird ver­sucht die Kosten der aktuellen Mehrfach-Krise zu pri­vatisieren, wie immer begleit­et mit dem Sprech ein­er ange­blich klassen­losen und tech­nokratis­chen Poli­tik.

Gründe für Protest gibt es also mehr als genug! Deshalb: Alles für Alle – und am 29.10. hin zum Ilvers­ge­hofen­er Platz!

Neon­azi and racist vio­lence has a long tra­di­tion in Erfurt. Racist attacks on racialised peo­ple are sim­i­lar (and share many con­ti­nu­ities) to attacks on those on the left, on poor and mar­gin­alised peo­ple. Through­out the sum­mer, local Nazis in the north of Erfurt have injured var­i­ous peo­ple in a series of attacks. These attacks in our part of the city are not a new prob­lem nor are they worse or dif­fer­ent to oth­er expe­ri­ences of racist vio­lence else­where. For us, it is self-evi­dent and nec­es­sary to stand in sol­i­dar­i­ty with those affect­ed by racist vio­lence. And racist vio­lence, of course, also affect us who are inter­est­ed in and work­ing towards an eman­ci­pa­to­ry and pro­gres­sive change of the state of affairs here, one that for once does not revert to extend­ing spheres of exploita­tion, reduces itself to per­for­mances of beau­ti­fi­ca­tion and so-called urban devel­op­ment.

And don’t get us wrong: the over­all sit­u­a­tion sucks even with­out Nazis on the ram­page: the way this soci­ety talks and thinks about itself has moved strong­ly to the right, the redis­tri­b­u­tion of wealth from the poor to the rich keeps on rolling, espe­cial­ly in times of the poly-cri­sis, and neolib­er­al­ism is alive and kick­ing. We all expe­ri­ence ris­ing prices for hous­ing, for food, for heat­ing – yet when we call for high­er wages, we are served numb­skull state­ments on alleged ‚wage-price spi­rals‘. At the same time, the costs of the cur­rent crises are pri­va­tised, as always accom­pa­nied by the talk of sup­pos­ed­ly class­less and tech­no­crat­ic pol­i­tics.
